Success in implementation of an investment project depends very much on the quality of its management. Management of an investment project includes planning, organization, monitoring and supervision of all phases of the project in the process of continuous movement towards its objectives. 

From one hand management is the process of using the project manager's knowledge, experience, methods, technologies of project management to achieve project objectives with required quality in due time within the budget in compliance with expectations of the project participants. From the other hand, management is a group of people managing the project e.g. ensuring process of project implementation, communications, and making required decisions.
